Default Factory brake disc hole pattern

Notwithstanding the curved slots which are present to prevent disc warping
under high heat situations, the stock factory disc in the image is made with various,
seemingly random, round hole groupings.
Is the reason for these staggered hole pattens a means to prevent resonance,
( vibration and squeal ), from the disc rubbing on the pads at certain critical RPMs?
If this is true, how come many other discs from other bikes have
symmetrical hole patterns. Are floating discs more immune to resonance issues?

Kinda makes you wonder if someone just decided to drill some extra hole with their eyes closed!

Floating disc is far superior by design.

True iron disc are far superior by coefficient of friction but they don't market well.

Coated AL is the shit but are a bit expensive.

For heat dissipation and the crazy pattern is more than likely from static balancing so you dont have a crazy shake when braking, floating rotors are a much better choice.....but i could be full of it!

Could it be the weird hole pattern
is intended to cancel out any imbalance
from the presence of the curved slots?
Assuming of course the curved slots
do produce an initial imbalance.
