Didn't get a whole lot accomplished tonight. after aligning, taking apart, realigning, checking and rechecking I tacked int he down tube. Checked again and finally welded it in. Hopefully I can get the lower frame rails fit up and welded tomorrow then start on the rear motor mount.

Thanks, no fancy dancy machine either. Old Miller AC/DC Thunderbolt and a scratch start air cooled tig.
Got quite a bit taken care of this evening. Got the rear motor mount and seat post in. Figured since I had gone that for might as well go ahead and get the back bone in place. Starting to look a little like a motorcycle again!

Also got the two bottom rails tied in to the down tube and cleaned up.

Vin is still stamped into the neck. Just have to be careful when working in that area to keep it intact and readable. As far as how to do it, just gotta do it! If you have any questions just pm me

Been busy the past couple of days. I got the rear end all tied in. Happy I was able to keep the backbone and upper legs on the tail section at the same angle. Everything just seems to flow better that way to me. Got about 90% of the welding done, everything I could get to on the fixture. Got most all of the plug welds done and started the smoothing process. Gonna finish up the few little spots and plug welds tomorrow. Super stoked to get it off the fixture and see it standing on its own. Sat the tank up on the backbone to get an idea of how it will flow with the rest of the bike.
