XLF member Rubine went to great lengths to move the scavenging from the rear of the sump to the front of the sump by way of manipulating flywheel force on the oil's direction.
Apparently he believes the wheels play a big part in pushing oil for scavenging.

I have the 2015 download that quotes power for the 883 and 1200 as 30 and 40 KW respectively. The current download has it at 40 and 50 KW respectively.
Maybe the 2015 figures were a mistake, otherwise HD has regained about 25% more power since 2015.

Looks like an 80s model... modded with dual carbs.
Ironheads have steel tubes running externally from the feed galley to the heads just like in that picture.
Whoever did that last, ran rubber lines instead of steel.
The factory 11:00 CC pressure vent line is most likely ran down to oil the chain when it drips unsuspended oil.

Thats what I did with my '73.

On the venting. I'm back to venting in the cam chest. I was getting a drip or 2 venting from the heads after awhile. I think I know why. Most likely the same reason I got a few drips from the cam chest. Air leaks. I had oil seeping from the fitting in the cam cover last time. Also the solid bolts in the heads. If oil seeps out, air will seep in. Any outside air, whether thru leaks like this or poor working umbrellas that allow air back in, any amount, leads to more air having to be vented carrying oil with it.

Yes. I used loctite sealant on the solid bolts in the heads. My threads in the cam cover seem a bit loose so I used yellow teflon tape on that fitting. It's gas and oil resistant. I'll keep an eye on it. I didn't seal the solid bolts last time and used regular teflon tape on the fitting in the cover.
Here's the thing. I could tell when I started sucking air in by the feel of the motor. It was more labored again tho not as bad as when I was running the stock breathers alone that were really sucking air in.
I'm letting that sealant cure a little before I run it. I'll let you know if there's anything to my theory on incoming air and oil laden vapors. Mine wasn't bad but none would be better.
If it's still present im going to pull the cover and come up with a way to separate the oil inside. I don't like the idea of the venting going up so oil can drain down. At least not without a filter to keep the line from being plugged. Plus the esthetics side of it.

Well my initial findings are quite good. After a 30 mile hard ride I parked and not a drop. Took it easy for 15 miles to warm it up good then wound the living snot out of it for another 15 miles.
