In New Zealand:
Black Sportster S $28,750
Pan America $33,995
Black 114 Street Bob $25,495

I think the new Sportster S is really good, but I'll go for the Street Bob cos I want a Harley with a 45degree air-cooled (and a bit of oil) engine.

As thrilled as you seem to be with the new Sportster S do you have a genuine and authentic deposit down on one?

Looking forward to this "tamer" looking version. This one I could certainly lust after, even more in a blacked-out version... Just hope it still comes with the same/similar performance specs as the S, but I'm betting it doesn't given the downgraded suspension.

I actually kind of like the Sportster S. But it don’t like it enough to spend that amount of money. I’ll keep my 04 1200R.

For the sake of Harley.....I hope the Sportster S is a success......will, I buy one.....no... if I outlive my 09 1200C then I would look to the electric first..........but of course heading toward 80 at breakneck speed.....I am sure my trusty Harley will be around when I am not.

Ask a Porsche fanatic the same question. Air cooled, classic style all day long. I suspect a lot of the same sentiment will be shared by folks that don't like the drive-by-wire, electronic everything direction the sportster has taken, on top of the no-vaseline msrp.
