DOLE began trading also. The world's largest produce company. Bananas & Pineapples. Also bagged salad. Plus all of the land that they own worldwide - 109,000 acres. Also consider that they have a global logistics network with warehouses, cold storage, packing plants, shipping..... Friday close at $14.50.

With all the lettuce I eat will have to check it out...

The DRIP system... Say the price rises 15% or more short term, what then?

When actively trading the amount of profit {% or $$} was established prior to the buy order, with trade triggers set accordingly. Set & forget.

Still looking for a link to Cam trading... Cut & paste.

Having a background in QC charting reading charts is easy... I do recommend a minimum subscription to "Channeling Stocks". This is not for the "hot tip" but to get accustomed looking at charts & patterns. It can show when not to buy as well as potential purchases. Mo info

Let's assume you buy 1 share of a preferred stock at $25. It pays 6.25%. The quarterly dividend is $0.390625.

On the day that the dividend is paid, the dividend is directly reinvested into shares of that stock. You will own 1.015625 shares.

If that stock goes up in value 15%, the dividend is still $0.390625. You will own 1.0146028037383177570093457943 shares.

At the next quarter, your dividend goes up, because you will receive a dividend payment which includes the fractional shares you received at the last quarter.

If you invested in 1,000 shares ($25,000), after your first quarter, you would own 1,015.625 shares. @ $25 per share, your investment is now worth $25,390.625

Just to be clear, BPYPM is a preferred stock.

Unlike common stockholders, preferred stockholders have limited rights which usually does not include voting. Preferred stock combines features of debt, in that it pays fixed dividends, and equity, in that it has the potential to appreciate in price. This appeals to investors seeking stability in potential future cash flows.

BPYPM pays 6.25% per annum of the $25.00 liquidation preference per unit (equal to $1.5625 per unit per annum). The distribution rate per annum may also increase by 5.00% in certain instances. The stock is redeemable on 7/26/2026. Dividends will be paid on the 30th of March, June, September, and December.

Set & forget... "market" orders.

Dole... set trade trigger @ $15.01 to get in, actual was 15.0182.

Again set trade trigger @ 15.42 to get out , actual was 15.3857.

Did better going in. But looking at the chart, the computer did what it does best and "fit the order in" on the sale.

I've been keeping my eye on OTLK. It's a biotech company that had great phase 3 trial results , but tanked . It's been slowly working way back up , but they have completed all steps required for FDA approval . Huge potential !

It's just not good timing for Dole. Like Viatris, expect some more volatility. Dole will level out and find the right price to be at when they declare a dividend. I wouldn't buy into a company like that unless the board decides to share the wealth with the unit holders.

With the recent pullback, I like Lemonade, TelaDoc, & One Medical.

I’ve been doing daily calls on SPY and SPX. I joined a discord with a guy who seems legit to want to help people. He trades just these two tickers. Seems to be pretty steady profits while following him. It’s invitation only if anyone wants an invite let me know your handle on discord.
