Dr_ransom is an unknown quantity at this point
Default Stock rear sprocket 1984E XLX

Greetings:
I have a 1984 early sportster & I want to buy a rear sprocket.
When I look online, I get different offsets sizes.
I read somewhere that the stock offset was 2mm.
Is this true?

Would it hurt to use a flat sprocket?
would this cause alignment problems ?

Thanx in advance

DR

There should be no off set to your sprocket. Look up Part #41470-82 48 tooth
