Default Howdy From Fratt, TX(SA suburb now)

Howdy im N8 and i just picked up an 07 Nighster!! its my 1st harley other than an extended test ride on an 09 xr1200 when they were new(dealer would make me a deal so i didnt buy it). i figure im old enough now to cruise... no more mach 2 with my hair on fire... mach 1 will suffice. ill post up some pics later ... looking into going back to the stock bars as i have some RSD(or look alike) mini apes that are taking some getting used to. also might switch back to mids controls as im coming off crotch rockets and dirt bikes so forwards just feel foreign to me.... N8

Welcome N8 from Cincinnati! I also prefer stock handlebar bends and mids; they're much more comfortable for me.

N8: welcome from CT . Congrats on the nightster .I’m a big fan of them . So like yourself I made the switch from a gsx-r over to my sportster iron . I also am much more comfortable with mid controls as well so I left them on . Everyone has a different taste and comfort level with their sportsters and the endless modifications and parts available make the sporty a perfect platform . Happy you have found the forum . Lots of very knowledgeable men and women here that have tons to share.

N8, welcome to the forum family from a swamp in Michigan. Enjoy your ride.
