About 22,000 miles since i bought my '05 883 standard in Feb.,05. I rode 95 percent of those miles the first 20 months, kinda slowed down in the last 8 months. Although i did ride up to a local indian reservation Friday and came back Sunday. It was a nice ride, i cruised at 70-80 mph and got about 48mpg and oil temp. was 185 degrees at its hottest. That was with a full sized windshield and loaded with an extra 40lbs. of luggage. The temp was between 97 and 101 going there and coming back i left at 5:30am Sunday mourning with the temp around 73-74 degrees, oil temp dropped down to 165 because of the lower outside temp and i started out riding only 55mph because it was still dark and alot of deer to share the road with. Where a parked my bike over the weekend there where deer within 5 feet of my bike. Needless to say that does make you think about them when cruising on the highway, when dark even more so.

Have had mine about 18 months. Have just over 10,000 on it. Just did the 10,000 maintenance on it, myself. Will be putting about 4000 miles on it the first week of Sept. on a trip to Phoenix.

Just got back from Sturgis this afternoon. (sorry, no pics) Bought it in December '03. Milage is 64,002. But don't y'all feel bad, I'm an old retired guy. Nowhere to go & all day to ride my Sporty to get there.

Hey BKB, have you had to do anything with the top end yet, or anything else engine wise?

64K kicks major booty, right on.
