Default Database of Pay-showers / Truckstops???

Just wondering in this spiffy digital-age of knowledge,
is there any website or database with a list of public showers
in America? Maybe even a POI database for a GPS!

I'd like to have the freedom of camping, but without worrying about starting off scummy for the day....

(I imagine something like this site for food.....http://roadfood.com/)

I know this isn't exactly what you were asking, but when I used to go camping, I used

and a car drying chamois and they worked great.

I forgot to ad that a lot of the Army Corp of Engineers Lake complexes also have shower complexes if you are camping. Check the area that you are going to and bring them up on the web and they'll tell you if bathrooms and such are available

Every KOA I've ever seen allows this. Your often best off just camping there too if it isn't too busy. Locating all KOA campgrounds would be a great way to start your database.

If your really out in the sticks, a good clearwater stream is the most refreshing & cleanest you'll ever feel. This is an excellent money-saving option which we often use on trips.

If your sneaky you can get free showers at busy KOA's, the doors are never locked and the showers are not coin operated.
