Default Air cleaner backing plate screw size?

Hi all,

Bought a stock 883 recently and have just got around to working on it as the parts have started rolling in!

Does any one know the size of screws to fit an air cleaner adapter plate to a CV carb? I didn't get any with either the filter or the carb support bracket......:/

Thanks
Dave

I think you are talking about these. Can't find the thread pitch anywhere.

Though international models show a different screw.

Well, the holes in the CV carb that the screws would go in (the three around the carb throat) are ¼" - 20 UNC thread. The stock screws to hold the air cleaner to the carb (at least on a 2000 onwards) are # 946, ¼" - 20 UNC × 2¼" Torx button head.
