Awesome Mac!

On a different note. I plan on having my street bike on the strip next year. Only changes are I want to run my Aim in it, stock wheelbase. I want, big word there, want to ditch the factory wheels for some Buell , Buell blast or something metric. Keeping the bike 100% street able.

My hot street bike has gobs of power. Plans for that are more fine tuning and honing it in. I would like a different clutch set up in it for sure so I can run the aim in my street bike. No major changes , but looking forward to a winter of fine tuning. Big changes the last few years so now it's time to think and dial it in. 9.99 and 10.99 are my goals.

I was wanting the same thing Mac. I was looking at doing it but decided without fuel injection it was gonna be a pain in the ass. I'm interested to see what you come up with.

Post season repairs and revisions already on the works. Swingarm is twisted. Electrical was never right. Front wheel cracked and warped. Both rotors smoked. Clutch pack gone. The list goes on. Gonna be a long winter but we learned a ton

What I want to do...

Smash 1250 on Pops bike, a set of Nasty Buell conversion trees and a XB12X forks, wheel, brake, and fender. Then she goes back to full time street duty...

Acquire a FI 883...Super Sledge it.
1275 CC minimum
Air shift
lock up
14 in stretch
180 hookup rear
my current Buell front end installed
Dial her in at 10.50 and really learn how to bracket race.

Hopefully nothing too expensive for me! Plan is to tear down the top end, re-fresh within specs, need to find some more in it somewhere to be competitive with the FI bikes.

Maybe add a 1/4 fairing, shed all the useless wiring and anything else I can save weight on...and no I'm not dieting, already skinny enough .

With that setup you should be good for low 10 high 9! That's a lot of power

Ditched my headlight. The afr was really distracting going down the track, but I want my gauges for the pits. Compromise idea. Easy to read in the pits, no more distractions when we're running
