Default I'm in love with these saddlebags.

Hey everyone,

Just wanted to chat about my this new saddlebag "https://www.vikingbags.com/harley-sportster-883-iron-xl883n-viking-lamellar-leather-covered-shock-cutout-hard-saddlebag" I picked up a little while ago. I've been using it for a few weeks now, so I figured I'd give you a quick rundown.

First things first, I really like how these bags look and how big they are. The outside has this cool leather cover that gives them a kind of old-school vibe, and it goes really well with the tough look of Sporty. The stitching and overall quality are really well done. The saddlebag offers ample storage space for essentials like tools, rain gear, and personal belongings. The interior is well-designed, allowing me to organize my items efficiently.

Talking about toughness, the leather covering seems strong, and the hard part of the bag adds another layer of protection for my stuff. I haven't tested it in the rain yet, so I'm not sure how waterproof it is, but it seems like it can handle different weather. It might not be the absolute best one out there, though. There are probably some even tougher ones, but they usually cost a lot more.

Now, let's get into the not-so-great stuff. Attaching these to my bike was a bit of a challenge. I had to make holes and use nuts and bolts to secure them. And once they're on, they're kind of hard to take off because you have to undo the bolts inside the bags. It would've been nice to have an easier way like a quick-release system.

But here's the thing – this downside isn't so bad when you look at the price. I got these for around $360, which isn't too high if you compare it with others on the market.

So, summing up, these saddlebags are a cool add-on that brings style and usefulness to my ride. The way they fit in, the room inside, and the locking feature make them a good choice for all sorts of trips. There are a few small issues, but when you think about the whole package and the price, it's a thumbs-up from me. I'm curious to see how these hold up as time goes on.

With all due respect for you and the mfg, most Harley People don't won't to have the mfg logo so prominent on their ride. Better to have people say "Hey nice bags where did you get them".

If I were in the market for bags, I'd give them consideration. I originally wanted Q/R on my Harley bags, but in reality, I never took them off anyway.
