my light comes on at around 90 miles but i usually dont start looking for a station til 120 or so... rode to blackwater falls a couple weeks ago filled up and set the trip before heading out, got there and hit gas station before heading back at 108, it took 1.9 gal...

Put 108 miles on 1.96 gal, works out to about 55 mpg and the light hadn't come on yet. This is my work commute mileage....about 5 miles through traffic lights and neighborhoods and about 22 miles of highway @ 70mph.

Never really went over about 95 miles. Light comes on at 80.

My light comes on around 80-90 and I usually fill up at 110. Went to 130 once but it barely made it to the gas station. I'm not interested in replacing the pump anytime soon so I fill between 110-120

Light comes on normally somewhere between 90 & 105 miles, then I make sure I fill up at the next possible petrol station as rather not risk ending up pushing it home

I average about 45-55mpg when I'm being "reserved” but since I haven't been able to master this technique then it’s about 35mpg.

Two answers for me. On the highway fully geared up my low light comes on at about 115 - 120 miles and it takes 2.2 gallons (US) or 52 - 55 mpg. Around town the light comes on between 80 - 86 miles and also takes 2.2 gallons for 36 - 39 mpg. I must hit the throttle hard. oh well, it's fun.

I usually get about 90-100 miles before I stop to fill up and it takes anywhere from 1.9 to 2.4 gallons.. depends on how I'm riding that day.

My low warning light's reliable & comes on around 170 km. I've seen nearly 200 with the light on but don't want to repeat that. The light's saved me once, I'd forgotten I'd taken the bike out a day or so earlier & would've run the tank dry. It's probably not a good idea to regularly run the tank very low, don't want any crud being sucked into the fuel delivery. I know there's a filter but..
