Some plastic or rubber caps might look better, just need to find some I can try out.

If it was me, I would put acorn nuts on top of the spacers instead of the wing nuts. They would look nicer and have less chance of snagging something. Some places you can even get them in stainless.

Australia uses a different octane rating system to the USA. Where I live the best I can get is a 98 octane rating, from what I’ve read that is equivalent to the USA 91-92 octane rating. When I travel inland the best I can get at a lot of places is 95, which I’m guessing is about 87-88 in the USA. Some places inland only have our 91 fuel. Assuming you’re in the USA.

The acorn nuts are good idea, I think I’ll have to get myself some of them, thanks.

If birds weren’t attaching themselves to my bike today it was prickles. This picnic spot beside a river had nothing else growing there but copious amounts of pickles.

The country is so dry inland. If a lightning storm come through or some clown flicking his cigarette butt out the window this place would turn into hell very quickly. Needs some water real soon.

Chinese specials. All aluminium though.. of some description.

They don’t fit the stock handlebars very well straight out of the box though. The Harley bars have very thin walls, so I had to make the slots in the socket (the bit that locks up inside the handlebars )longer with a hacksaw, that allows it to spread out more as you pull the tapered bit through and locks it all up just fine. I have some thicker walled biltwell bars with a set in them aswell, from memory they fitted ok straight out of the box.

Look similar to the ones on my Orange, didn’t realize some were made in 1” for metric bikes, learn something every day, thanks.

Orange one? I like orange ones.

Don’t quote me but I think the jap cruisers use 1 inch bars, but they like to call them 25mm bars ...just so they don’t look like they are trying to be like a Harley I guess haha.. I dunno
