Default Clutch sleeve

Hey all just wondering my primary case opening for my clutch sleeve is 3/8.. A cable I got a while ago is for my stock year Iron but it's sleeve is 5/16...I ordered all my correct cables from Barnett last night so no worries just curious on how, why or what determines the hole size for clutch sleeve in primary

you're referring to where the clutch cable enters the primary cover. really there is only one size from the factory. occasionally the threads get stripped out and need to be repaired.

Yes..i guess that's what happened because I had to specify to Barnett when I ordered my cables to make the sleeve 3/8 n not 5/16

Now I know it should be 5/16...I figure because my first clutch cable I ordered was for my bike 71xlch and obviously it came 5/16 N WAS TOO SMALL
