Default Turn signal mirrors

I got a set of mirrors with turn signals in them and finally hooked them up. Well the left side works perfect but the right side wont work. I thought it was bad so I ordered another set. They came in today and i went to install it and the same thing, nothing. Its a one wire hook up. I spliced right into the turn signal wire. Any have an idea of why just the right side wont work?

The circuit needs to be a complete circle back to the battery - You need to check the grounding of your mirror to see if it is making a circuit back to the battery negative post...

Got a meter? Put it on OHMS scale and put one meter lead on the mirror stem & the other on the battery negative - should read 0-ohms - meaning it is connecting with the battery negative...

Alternatively, you can get a piece of wire long enough and place one end on the battery negative & the other end on the mirror mount or mirror stem... Does the TS work then?

Perhaps a manufacturing defect on the right side mirrors - Did you precheck them to see if they work off the bike? Connect the wire to the positive battery post, touch the mirror stem to negative battery post... Light should be on steady... (DON'T SHORT THE BATTERY TERMINALS TOGETHER WITH THE MIRROR!)

1995 models did not have a ground strap from the frame to the handlebars because the Turn Signals & other lights had dedicated ground wires to them from the main harness... Your bars or control housings may not be grounding...

There are two wires that go to the stock front signals. One for a running light, the other for the signal. Did you perhaps connect to the wrong one?

It was a ground. The left side lever must be grounded and the right side isnt. I hooked up a wire with any eye ring to the mirror stud and it works perfect now. Thanks yall
