actually, I have a 20% off accessories coupon that I got with the bike when I bought it....
I really do like the black quick detach stuff.... would look mo' bettah on the Low (imho)
hmmmmmm..
with the 20% off it really wouldn't be that much more.
hmmmmm....
thanks folks, for the input....

Well, maybe.
At Dennis Kirk I can get regular sideplates and sissy bar for about $157.
hmmmm....

I understand the cost issue, but the HD combo can be compared to the HD Tach upgrade. The fit will be perfect, the function will be perfect, the installation will be easy, and will result in years of trouble free service. I'd much rather spend more to begin with than have to replace parts down the road and end up spending more anyway.

Just my 2 cents, but it's something to consider.

When I got my bike it had the hard side rails and the micro mini bar, I call it a butt pad myself, but it didn't take me long to go to the tall bar. Add it with the Sport rack and its very useful.

The possibilities are endless they really are. ;-)

I wanted a sissy bar on from the moment I bought the bike but knew I wanted something different and it took a while before I found CycleVisions and liked what I saw.

Its about the best place to attach anything, center of the bike, don't have to worry about anything touching the road.
If your just doing a day trip thats all I use.
Now that Pic of me was up at Americade a few yrs ago, I was packed for a week. That was us sitting at a gas station before we got put on the road home. Our lead truck with the trailer took that pic, its my fav pic to date.

I ran just the tall bar naked for a while, its chrome.
But just the pain HD tall bar, I like it.
And it will hold a lot of weight, on the solid side plates.
