Default Piston and cylinder condition

Just tore down my top end because of a noise that I now believe to be rod knock with glitter in the oil. Trying to determine if the cylinders and pistons are damaged as well but I’m not really sure what to look for
Here’s a look at the piston

https://youtu.be/x1aXBN8NZME

And here’s a look at the cylinder

https://youtu.be/rUzUtw-fD5Y

Cylinder walls have some marking on them but are smooth to the touch. One mark, about an inch long, I can just barely feel with my finger nail, but the rest feel really very smooth.
When I pulled it apart the bike had power upon start up but power seemed to degrade after it was running for a bit.
What do y’all think about the condition on these piston and cylinders?
Thanks in advance.

What do the valves and guides look like. You should of done a cold and hot compression check.

Run a magnet through the glitter: is it bronze or iron?

There doesn't seem to be any visual smoking gun on the piston or cylinder.
But the bore needs to be mic'd to be sure if it's in spec.
That requires the cylinder to have torque plates installed to be done right.
The cylinder relaxes with the head off and distorts.
It's impossible to know the exact measurement with it being distorted.

A compression check would have told you if the rings/valves are sealing.
This is not as scientific as micing the cylinder but if there is a problem, it'll show up thru the test.

The pistons and cylinders do Not look good to me. I’m just looking at a video of course, but the scratching looks to be from little bits of metal, probably thrown up from the crank pin.

The pistons and cylinders don’t appear worn/damaged enough to cause of the noise, but are showing related damage.

Since it's apart you have the perfect opportunity to do an upgrade with the re-build.
