Cleaned my Sporty up, took it for a ride, ran my 3rd autotune with my PowerVision, and filled the tank.
Since getting the fuel injectors properly wired, the blown head gasket fixed, and the whole top end properly tightened down- my fuel economy has went from 40-41.5 MPG to 50-50.5 MPG.

Yeah, I was surprised too. I'm easy on the throttle and I live in the boonies so almost all my riding is freeway or 55MPH back roads.

Also, I did the oil change today. I switched over from HD to Valvoline VR1 20w-50 after many recommendations from forum members here and my own research.

Ordered a set of used air shocks complete with hoses and bolts from a 2010 Ultra Classic off of ebay today after recommendations from members (and seeing their XLs) at the Ohio Meet & Eat. The ones I ordered looked 'mint' in the pics and the price was right too.
The part # is 54565-09, from research here on the forum they'll come in at 12.75", since mine is an XLC I'm not sure how much it'll raise the bike up? It should give me some extra clearance and travel which would be nice.
I'll have to put up some pics when the shocks come in.

I also took my Sporty for a ride today and filled it up. I did the math and from the Meet & Eat to today, I averaged 51.85MPG Not bad for Speedway's 93 octane!

Actually about two days ago: I'd installed the Mustang Wide Touring,one-piece seat. Took it out for a 110 mile break in ride. I read it will take 1,000miles for the seat to fully break in. If so it will be astounding. Already a great imrovement.

The ride would have lasted longer. But it was one of those head east because of rain west of me. Now north.... ooops east again. Managed to stay dry but it was a near thing.
