It's probably only going to get worse.

Queensland (Where I live) has closed it's borders to the Southern states. Hard lockdown. They had 12 new cases in NSW (our nearest neighbor) yesterday. But in Queensland - a state about 2 1/2 times the sie of Texas we have had a total of 6 deaths from just over 1000 cases since this thing began. We've had like 1 case in the last 2 months., so .....

We ain't letting anyone in.

But most freight goes through Sydney and hardly any flights come up to Brisbane now. So, freight now has a problem.

Oh well.

Australia has done very well in the pandemic. Tasmania being an island helped, we just shut everyone out. I found freight within Australia has been okay but international freight delivery seems to have fallen off a cliff. But yes, things will get worse before they get better.

Ah Ha !

Some hope at last. Just got notification they have received some notification. Still no tracking number yet but they are claiming I should see it in 3 business days.

We will see.

Sometimes, customs (Border Force) pick up my packages. That can add a two week delay while they try to work out why on earth anyone would pay HUGE money for scrap metal. They know something's not right but just can't figure it out.

Now, do I keep the package in Quarantine for two weeks or is that what "Border Force " is doing now ?

If the bike "coughs" once I put this thing on, just how worried should I be ?

It is coming from America but indefinably Chinese in origin.

How could things get much worse ?

I will wear full PPE when unboxing this one !

American showed it's prowess in biological engineering when it released a virus that targeted Blacks, Homosexuals and Intravenous drug users. Worked almost perfectly. AAnd they still don't have a vaccine for it 40 years later !

But I am hoping the Chinese were actually targeting old people or that alternatively this was an accident and they weren't really ready to release the virus yet.

China as we all know faces a huge demographic challenge with a population distribution curve far worse than the "Baby Boomer" situation.

Very soon, their children will not be capable of supporting so many old people.

Well, ... they could but who wants to spend money on old people ?
