Most of the wires likely could not handle the load of the lights so you probably would need to use a relay. The stock HD aux lights use the low beam wire as the keyed source to trip the relay. For charging the cell phone I simply use a USB connector that plugs into my heated gear plug (always on). As a backup, I have a USB adapter to plug into my battery tender cable

Yep, near the fuse block under the seat. Should be a gray accessory plug for an accessory adaptor kit.
Either above or in front of the battery. I believe in front. I'm not home to look.

If that is what is referred to as the B+ connector it is always powered. That is the source of power for my aux lights, but there is a relay that is tripped by a tap off the low beam wire. On my 06 it was under the seat

I'm not using it but I understood it to be keyed. I saw it when i plugged the race tuner into my ICM and wondered what it was.
My bad. Must've read it wrong or just assumed it was.

I thought it was and used it to power my GPS. Imagine my surprise when the GPS stayed on after the bike was shut off. Then I remembered the relay that I installed for the lights. I had thought that was to turn the lights off when the highbeams were on but I guess it was to turn the lights on when ignition was on.

Maybe they changed it in more recent models

The B+ connector is intended for the Battery Tender - it connects to the Battery thru the Battery or P&A fuse (depends on year) - NOT thru the Keyswitch - It's always ON...

Anyone know how I can identify the RHCM harness connector inside the left caddy panel on a 2019 Sportster 48 without tracing the wires, lifting the tank and seat ? Mine sh*t the bed over the weekend and want to know where I should begin my diag. Any insight would help !

Dumb question, but if you have a 2019 Sportster why not have it fixed under warranty?
