I put 500 miles on the new Roadster and had a Wizard of a bodyman adapt the front fender from an XR 1200 to fit the 16.

265 miles this weekend and added a little oil.
10 hour days and a 6 day work week really puts a damper on the miles.

60 hours a week! That's brutal especially during riding season!

Been there, done that. When you get home you look at everything that didn't get around the house that needed maintenance, repairs, paperwork -- not to mention the "significant other" who needs personal attention. Jumping on the bike can put you in "time out" in more ways than you can count.
I finally got to retire and I still don't get to ride as much as I would like because there is always something else to do that has higher priority.

As was stated in the past, be sure you're not blinding/pissing off on coming traffic.

I agree. I used to run my high beams on my old style headlights because they were just so dim in comparison with my new Wisamic LED headlight (see link below). Now I only use the high beam at night when no cars are coming.

However, when someone is in the process of turning left in front of me, or pulling out in front of me at the last minute, I flash the high beam briefly them know how rude they are by endangering my life. Fortunately, this is only about 1% of the time. If I can avoid a confrontation, I will.

It wasn’t bad the till about 500 miles in and my primary ran dry and my rear tire blew out but I filled the primary back up and rtv’d the inspection gasket to stop the leak. The 700 mile trip home was slow going with it being 110 degrees till the sun went down then 100 miles with a 15 minute gas break till I got home

10” T bars, biltwell seat not meant for long rides. No front brake and not much rear. Cramped mid controls. It made for a good story at Bbq’s this summer

Wow! That's an adventure! Those wheel rims look to be the profile type.

If your primary ran dry, so did your transmission. You probably should check your swing bearings also.

Not sure.

I just hell around town, speedo works sporadically. Zero padding on my seat.

Ten miles from home to my shop, gym.

Probably 150/200 miles a week. 1.5/2 tanks of gas a week
