152 miles for me, maybe once I get consistent, unless we have eastcoast drags there.

I think Lebanon and epping are about the same distance for me I plan on hitting the strip this year.

Epping is doing a Street Outlaw type deal on Wednseday nights this year like you see on the Discovery Channel. Place will probably be jammed all summer on Wed. night!

I have all the gear, Snell helmet, armored leather jacket, boots... I know its not running anywhere close to 10.99, so I won't need a lanyard kill or hot pants...

The bike is a 2003 1200

N4 cams
.010 base gaskets
.030 head gaskets
@ 9.4:1 compression
Ultima Ignition curve 4
21 tooth front/ 48 tooth rear ( about 135 in 5th at 7K rpm)

I am hoping to get a baseline dynorun before I get to the track.

I have had pretty good luck with 3500-4500 rpm launches, but I know the tire is slipping on the unprepared asphalt I screw around on. Anyone have a target time I should be shooting for provided I don't miss any shifts and get a good launch.
So have you got out there and ran it yet?

Unfortunately, no. If I do get to run this year, it looks like it will be at MIR in Budds Creek MD.

[Caution Dirty laundry airing to follow...]

The following is a small excerpt from the hell that has become my life...

My snell helmet was cracked when it fell off the attic floor to the lower floor... ordered a new DR. Sin Scorpion helmet.

My father has Transitional Cell cancer. a week ago we got some really crappy news. The cancer was caught late due to details I won"t go into as I have not decided what to do about it yet... It was caught at stage 3 and he went through Chemo last year. the Chemo reduced the tumor, but it did not prevent it from spreading to his bones, lymphnodes, lungs, and brain. He has leisions on his brain, and many small tumors inside his brain. The current prognosis is 6-10 weeks- 6 months. I have some loose ends to tie up mere in MA for work and such, then I am headed to MD to spend as much time with him as possible when not on travel to stay employed.

Damn sorry to hear about your Dad we lose way to many friends and loved ones to cancer. Spend as much time as you can with him and take care of his needs. Life sucks at times all we can do is keep beating it down and keep going.

I am down at Pops house, and this Friday night we are going to MIR (Budds Creek) street night to get some testing in. I have been playing with the timing curves, and I think its as good as i can get it with out some dyno time. She won't tolerate more than 26* all in by 2800 when she is warm. This also when she pulls the hardest. Limiter is set to 6900 and the light is set to 6200. 9 out of 10 times I can react to the light and just keep it off the limiter. One last hurrah for the old man and a memory I can hold on to.
