Sounds like MAC runs a short stack ! ya know like 3 hot cakes is a short stack !
Maybe missing a friction plate ?
The Carbonite is a hybrid pack where every plate but one is a friction and a steel.

Maybe my wording is wrong. I run all the plates, we would double up some steels and fibers so the stack would have less surface area and less grab on the hit. Stack height was always between 1.25 and 1.28. depending on what we were trying to get for static.
