I have the 153 page "User Guide for the Power Vision and Win PV Software".
I was hoping Dynojet had a similar GUIDE for the C3 SOFTWARE. Have a LINK to one?
Back to oudvah84.
I've downloaded the newer Power Core Software Suite. I was running the Pre C3 version as I used it to view Powervision data logging. It won't let me access C3, because I don't have a PV3 connected to it?
Edit: This was on my laptop running Win7Pro 64 bit. I downloaded Power Core to my Win10Pro 64 bit laptop and the C3 software will run BUT I seem to need a PV3 to connect to download a map to see what's accessible. Unfortunate, as I'm going thru the same process on my '17 1200 (with Power Vision and target tune and wideband O2's) after changing cams, having done this after my first cam change also. You can tune how closed throttle deceleration sounds and how much closed throttle deceleration you have.
Do you have the latest firmware installed?
Backfiring: In C3 look in the Fuel section for something like "Deceleration Enleanment" and disable it. That should help fix your banging. Then you control deceleration (low MAP) fuel with your AFR table and your VE's. Closed, and near closed throttle, ignition timing plays a role also.

I do have the latest version installed. I also can see the decel enleanment but not sure how to deactivate it. Somewhere on here hammer posted to put all the decel enleanment tables to 1 to fix decel popping but that did nothing. If it were just regular decel pop I wouldn’t care I actually like that but this is like a literal gun going off. I don’t want to keep making everything richer and richer but again I don’t know anything about tuning so maybe it’s not overly rich. I wish the damn auto tune would work cause I’m sure that would help a lot.

Good chance auto tune won't fix this. You DO want to run auto tune to establish your VE tables but this it probably won't fix.
Under "decel enleanment" is there text that says something like "To increase the fuel delivered on decel, decrease the value. To reduce the amount of fuel increase the value."?
If so, try setting the value(s) to zero. Will C3 accept that?
You're right about not wanting to arbitrarily go richer and richer overall, what we want to do here is just richen closed throttle fuel above idle speed, and near closed throttle fuel at higher revs.
You need to get the auto tune issue fixed. Who did you buy the PV3 from? Have you contacted them?

I sent an email to Dynojet yesterday asking for help hopefully I hear back today. I bought the PV3 from JP Cycle because there was a sale and I had a gift card so I got it for 280 otherwise I would have just got it from hammer with the kit. I can change all the decel enleanment tables to 0 I will try that today when I get home and see what happens. I’m pretty sure Hammer got me super close with the tune because it feels amazing other than the insane backfiring. Don’t even want to call it decel pop at this point. I appreciate your help by the way and will update after disabling decel enleanment. Im also getting a smoke test done just to be extra thorough about intake exhaust leaks which I really don’t think I have.
