Default TC88A EEPROM or FLASH

Just had my bike done with a 1275 Hammer kit by a great bloke in the UK, Alex at FastLane headworks. Superb job, under pressure from me to get the bike done before I had to get on the boat to go back home.

All running fine and I do not want to tinker with the settings on the TC88A ..but I'd like to be straight in my mind as to what I have got set up.

So this is a question for people experienced with using the TC88A PC Link program. I could ask Alex again, but he is busy with lots of jobs and does not need the hassle of answering any more of my questions

When you connect to the bike and do a 'Download From EEPROM' what will show when you look at the Edit Module Parameters Options?

If the TC88A is already set to use the default FLASH Advance Tables, will that show in the Options tab when you look.

Alex says he used the FLASH tables and used the dials but when I do the EEPROM download the Options page shows the Selection Dot set to the EEPROM Advance table.

So I was wondering if the PC Link software reads what the device is set to (EEPROM or FLASH) ..or if it just sets it and cannot read it.

This below was my last run on the dyno
1275 Hammer kit
10.3:1
Head job with new bigger valves..no spec for that.
Arlen Ness Big Sucker
Krome Werks HP Plus slipons
190 main jet
CVP Needle and lighter spring..SLIDE NOT Drilled
TC88A with 9 & 9

Just curious... why 9 & 9 ???

Hammer states very clearly to set it at 2 & 0.

9 & 9 because that was what gave the best performance on the dyno, each click produced and extra HP or so.

But I did wonder

Alex does speak to Dan at Hammer and did ask him if he had any maps, but Dan said no they don't, they just put it on the dyno and keep go up a click at a time to get peak performance.

But could the small increase he was seeing on the Dyno, just be as the bike warmed up?

This is why my question about does the PC link software indicate the TC88A is set on Flash or EEPROM, does the software only send the command to change from FLASH to EEPROM, or can it read what it is set on when the "Download from EEPROM ' command is issued.

It could be the bike is still running on the Rico map, the one I uploaded when I did my original 1200 V-Twin Crapufacturing kit a few years ago. (Crap because the barrel leaked oil from the return drilling from the rocker box down to the sump. New kit leaked from new but V-Twin Crapufacturing would not help as I was not original purchaser, even though I had the original receipts)
