Hope all in the US had enjoyable family / friends time at Thanksgiving.
Life pokes along for me here. Got back last week from visiting Norfolk Island with my Mum. It was a very quiet and peaceful trip; quality time together. Though it made me very aware how much my Mum has slowed down in the past year. Guess it's inevitable; she bounced back well in 2015, but being in great health evades her.
The weekend was then about enjoying a couple of Xmas parties and getting through some house work. Today is around 32oC (~90f) with more strong blustery winds with some gusts exceeding 80km/h. With that comes the extreme fire dangers again Power is also out at the moment; I'm guessing there's a tree fallen on the lines somewhere due to the winds. It is kinda messing up my plans for the day, though the silver lining is that it gave me idle time to come in here and catch up with friends. I'll kickstart the generator if it's not back shortly as I rely on a powered pump for water to the house. Hanging for a coffee in the interim... Hope you all stay warm, especially the crazy ones working in their driveways

Leftover turkey gravy and fresh biscuits to smother with gravy with eggs this morning I am one of those that sometime finds things taste better when siting in the fridge to marinate for a day or 2.

Gravy was frozen in tupper ware. Doing green tea today. Leaving the coffee for the wife.

30’s here and riding with a thin base layer, fleece top, AD1 uninsulated pants and an uninsulated Tourmaster Transition coat. Kinda balmy for now, but the colds coming back, guaranteed!

Return ride home tonight, high 20’s, snowing in the driveway at my son;’s house when I was getting ready to leave. 1/2 mile north and it looked like the opening to a Star Wars movie, where you enter warp speed and the stars start to blur. Heavy northwest wind and really damp. Just a dusting on the lawn at home,( a 40 mile jaunt), buthome safe.

Sigh. Time to get sore bones outside and continue work while retired.

Brains=washed.

Coffee is percolating in the shop as I type this in the house.

Edit: Yay. The wife dropped off the insurance papers for the Cadillac. I have the excuse to go wait in line and get the caddy inspected.
An all day job here since the oil boom.

Last time when I got my bikes inspected. Only one place does those here any more. So the wait is even longer.

Morning, guys. Winter in Ga is 40's. I love to ride, and I have ridden in bad weather, but some mornings it just doesn't feel like it's worth it to gear up and ride to work so I can strip it off for 8 hours. Plus I like the cup holder for my insulated coffee cup.
