Air Filter
I need to buy a new air filter for my 1975 XLH1000. Both Uni and K&N list two different part #'s depending on when the bike was made early or late 1975. How can I tell?

Do you know the width of your current filter?
I don't know how to tell an early from late 75 bike but,
The parts book lists the filter for late '75 as 2-5/8" wide and for early '75 as 3" wide.
Maybe you can tell from the width.

The sponge filter in mine is bad/incomplete. The screen mesh backing is 2 inches wide.
