My 2000 Hugger, "Queen Anne's Revenge", named after my grandmother.. well, the frame and part of the motor are at least stock Hugger. (pics were from a calendar shoot in Daytona earlier this year).

It's now minus the fairing and gauges and ditched the XR750 bars for a set of vintage SS buckhorns. Needless to say, it changes a lot.

And this is how I've run the bike since summer. I had a set of heritage style 12 inch apes on it a little after the March shoot, but the bends of the bars just didn't do it for me, so I switched to buckhorns to really mess with the people who already think my bike is somehow "vintage". I didn't really set out to build it that way.
Actually built it as a tribute to my Grandmother, a life long HD fanatic, who passed last year. Her name was Anne, hence the name of the bike...it's not a pirate reference, trust me. Everything I did, including paint, in my sand encrusted side yard here in Florida; including waiting three months for humidity low enough to shoot clear on my tins so they wouldn't fog. I had nowhere climate controlled suitable for spraying at the time.

You can't see it in the pics, but even the "kneepads" are paint. Layered up quite a few coats of primer over mesh non-slip carpet padding (used as a stencil), then shot white, metal flake, then clear to give a raised and grippy checker pattern surface. I think it turned out pretty cool. If anyone actually cares to see it up close, I'll post better pics of just the tank later on.
