Default Sources for new/used cast front wheels

I bought a 06 custom a few years back, with about 18k on her. Previous owner replaced the front wheel because of rusting issues. Well starting last year, I feel like I lost the battle with the rusty spokes. Since I ride in all sorts of weather it's impossible to keep wax on the spokes. Any idea where I can grab a 21 or 19 inch CAST front wheel for my 06 and any idea what particular years will fit? I absolutely love the spoked wheels but I can't keep spending hours keeping them clean.

Have a look here - Front Wheels for EVO Models:
http://sportsterpedia.com/doku.php/t...wheels01#front

You have (stock) a 3/4" axle...

Cast wheel for 883 model should fit fine:
2000–2007 19" Front Cast 13 Spoke (silver) 43338-00

2000-later wheels use sealed bearings - obtainable in various axle diameter sizes including 3/4".
Pre-2000 wheels use Timken bearings for 3/4" axle only... With the correct spacers, you can use these.

I love my Thunderstar front wheel - Maybe look for an aftermarket custom wheel:

I replaced my '17 1200C's OE 16" laced wheels with the Superlow/1200T 18"F / 17"R cast wheels. I found a reasonable rear wheel on E-Bay but bought a new front from Surdyke for less than what E-Bay sellers wanted for used wheels. The rear I did buy on E-Bay was the only listing I found for less than I could buy one new. Just FWIW.

Private seller in El Paso Texas has em for 300 bucks on facebook

It is a 19 inch wheel version though. Maybe local craiglist will give better results.
