Ladies and Gents, while readily available, they can not be posted here on the forum...it puts Bert in a very precarious position, to the point of shutting the whole thing down...now would you be wont of that?

Unlike other manufacturers Harley's hard copy manuals are reasonably priced. Same for aftermarket manuals. One additional source might be your local public library. Mine has a pretty fair inventory of manuals and the Liberian was open to getting additional models and years. She preferred to get Clymers as they tend to cover more years per manual. Certainly a good source for casual tune ups and general maintenance.

I was involved in a project while I was at SGI working with HD. They wanted to put all their manuals online with great detail. You could basically drill down to each component and then sub component until you went from a birds eye view of the bike all the way down to the specific part like a wrist pin (kind of like google maps for a harley). Clicking on the part would pull up all information including part numbers and availability. The next step in the project was assembly/dis-assembly. Right clicking on an assembly would bring up a menu and you could select "remove or install" and you would see an animation of how to remove or install a specific part or assembly.

I will check on what happened to it, but last I remembered, none of the dealers wanted it so the project got canned.

One of the large boat manufacturers has the same thing. Click on the engine and watch while it disassembles itself. Pretty cool stuff and at the time it was 3D (using glasses and specific monitor).

Not knowing this when I first joined. Thanks for letting me know. Now that I know. My bad.
I will look for my post and edit it accordingly.

Edit: I see a mod already did the edit already. Sorry for being a PITA. I won't make the same mistake again.

If you search around, you might find some of the manuals on clearance, from a dealer. I got all three of the manuals for my '12 "V" about half price each, which can't be beat. Of course in Houston, Tx there are plenty of dealers here to choose from.

I have the FSM, Clymers and the pdf.

Wish I had the FSM in pdf format. I don't have time often to wash my hands when looking something up

I will only add that the PDF manual I have is 44 meg and stays on a USB stick so it can travel with me. It also has quick links in the PDF to open the correct sections.

I have mine on a cd that I bought on eBay. When I rebuilt my forks, I just printed out the pages I needed. I put them in clear sleeves and put them in a folder.

Let's remember what this thread is about. It is about NOT sharing links to bootleg copies of any HD service manual. HD is very protective of its copyrights and to share illegal copies of them is a crime.

What does it cost to buy a manual?? The same price as a tank of fuel!!!!

All of my bikes has their own manual. And when I sell the bike I hand over the manual to the new owner.
