Default Choke

Choke or Fuel enricher ,

on my bike when you pull it out it will not stay in place,

should should it have stops so that it stays in place sort of half way out ??

I have to hold it out when starting

There is a nut, on the cable housing, on the back side of the bracket where the knob is. Tighten the nut a little bit.

Or you can just clip a wooden, spring clothes line clip on it, as I did on my '04. It's just wide enough to hold it open. Clip it on the clutch cable when you're not using it.

Cleaning any oils and dirt off the choke knob shaft and assembly helps, then tighten the knurled wheel behind the knob while holding the nut on the back of the bracket. (Never oil this cable)

Be careful not to overtighten tho. It's plastic and will break. Tighten a little at a time. Just enough til it holds where you set it but pushes in easy too.
