How about a link to what you're calling a "Barnett clutch spring plate" as there is no such thing.

You don't need to replace the clutch spring to replace the grenade plate just a set of friction and metal plates, often the replacement springs are stronger than the original making it a harder pull at the lever and only really needed if you are pushing extra BHP through it from a tuned motor.

A few years back Barnett supplied a judder spring setup with their kits that was very much like the XR1200/Buell XB judder spring and FWIW seeing that is what gave me the idea to use the XR1200 judder spring parts in my own bike. However Barnett now just supplies a set of steel and friction plates (without a spring plate or judder spring, etc.) from what I've read...

When I bought the Barnett Clutch plate kit, it replaced the spring plate with extra plates. The job was pretty easy, I did it on a 2008 and a 2009 sportster and have had no problems. I did buy the special tool to assist on getting out the circlip. If you have read through the job, you know what I am talking about. Some have plans to build a DIY tool, but I didn't do that. I replaced a 2009 with regular Barnett kit and the other with the Kevlar kit. Both work great. There is a little squeal from the Kevlar but I have no complaints.
