Default 3D Printed Motorcycle

My look into the future has just gotten brighter.

I just read this article about a new metal designed for 3D printing. It's called
Quote:
"Scalmalloy, an aluminum-magnesium-scandium alloy developed specifically for metal 3D printing, known for being stronger and more ductile than other aluminum alloy powders"
Supposedly it approaches the strength of titanium. Here is the motorcycle printed with it...

Youtube video.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fad7zXGR85c

Earlier last week I saw a vblog about a company called Relativity Space. They have secured a launch site at Cape Canaveral and are planning to launch 3D printed rockets there. Even the rocket motor will be 3D printed. They have test fired the rocket motor 20 times and have moved out of vaporware to reality. They expect to launch next year.

How long will it be before we go down to the local motorcycle shop and have them 3D print a part for us? Not long, I'm guessing.

If you have a 3D printer, you can print out certain parts on your own. Many people have started adding parts to several sites. I am working on a few of my own, and have already published a copy of the main shaft seal install tool.

I wonder what it would look like if they used a 3-D "COLOR" printer!

They announced today that they have just 3D printed a very small but real human heart in Israel

They are already 3D printing human bone mixed with plastic to implant as a structure that will hopefully grow into full strength bone.

Did you remember that scene from "The Fifth Element" where they 3D print a body? Sounds like we're getting closer.

They are going to 3D print Sushi. TMI alert, Not just Sushi, but sushi designed to meet your metabolic needs based on sampling body fluids.

They are already 3D printing houses in Texas.

The US Army is 3D printing cement temporary buildings from locally sourced cement.

Amsterdam and Shanghai have already 3D printed pedestrian bridges in use.
