Hey Pete! Is your seat white sided like the one on CL and would it fit on a 73 XLH?

I'm guessing the front mount replaces tongue and pin on mine and the double side mounts bolt on to the upper frame rails. Does nothing attach to the rear fender?

Thanks for the info and the offer, Pete! But I'm just keeping an eye out for a new (all black) seat for my 73 XLH. Not sure what I'm looking for, just looking for different options.

You may or may not recall a previous thread about me being pretty happy with the comfort and look of my current seat but I need to remove the seat to check my oil...

http://xlforum.net/forums/showthread.php?t=2080914

... Easy enough to do, but somewhat of a PIA.

I figure, sooner or later, I'll stumble upon the perfect solution that's worth the price of admission. Until then, I'll deal with what I have.
