The hard part about making a pie will be the crust. Research well before you begin.

When I was a kid my favorite pie was blueberry. We had wild blueberry bushes in the back lot. They produced a small berry that were busting in flavor and not bit mushy. My mom wasn't the greatest cook but she was sure a excellent plus baker. Her apple pies were great but her blueberry pies were beyond belief. I would love to have another before I cross the rainbow bridge. I don't have very high hopes though.

Enjoy your Christmas dinner. I will enjoy mine, I do most of the cooking in my house. My wife enjoys making Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners so I get a break.

There are many varieties of very tasty pies. I just have a passion for a good blueberry pie right now. Since the store bought pie I got for Thanksgiving was pretty tasteless, I've decided to try baking my own. Once Christmas has rolled on past, I may or may not lose my fixation on blueberry pie and maybe I'll get hung up on cheesecake or something else altogether for Easter.

If you love Rhubarb Pie, eat your fill! It's Christmas; it's a time for Joy!

My mom made a great rhubarb pie too, not a strawberry in sight.
