(not mine just a BOBTAIL fender example)

While I prefer the Bobber look for my ride, Your Bobtail looks really fine too.

A bobtail fender on a sportster adds a lot to the bikes looks. I had one before I went café.

That bike shows an important point, that the tank and fender need to match.
I don’t care for the combination of bobtail and Sportster tank, but with the Superglide type tank (for want of a better description) they can look good.
Evo Sportsters aren’t Ironheads, they are near-600lb Bikes with a 61” wheelbase and 16” rear tyres (sometimes wide(r) forks and wide front tyres too. They are the size of a shovelhead ElectraGlide. With a big, low-level exhaust and a lower, rounder tank they can carry off a similar styling.

.... fennn dah ......

So within "acceptable" Harley lexicon what name of rear fender treatment shown here should be used?
Bobber?
Bobby?
Bobtail?
Cat tail?
Bobcat tail?
I'm so confused.
I'd call it an "upturned bobtail".
Did I win?
