Default Lifters+w cams

Hello,i wish health to everyone. I was getting a lot of ticking noise from my 2006 883R.Yesterday i changed lifters(hylift Johnson) and i upgrade my cams from D to W.Pushrods and everything was clean inside the motor, but i still hear a bit of ticking noise from the heads. Is this a normal thing for harley motors? Thanks everyone.

Probably just the rocker tick that quite common. Mine does it.
Take a look at DK's rocker lockers.

Sorted? Was it the "normal" ticking or something else?

I run my oem ignition.I haven't sorted out and i never will.I have done these things and the bike is still noisy.I'm tired to spend more money and time for a bike with technology from the 40s.

Rocker lockers work for their intended purpose and do cut down the common ticking associated with the rockers/bolts.
Johnson Hylifts are great lifters and cheaper than S&S, Fueling, or any other premium lifter. I use the 2313SE with directional oiling in my 103". Harley actually used these briefly til going elsewhere to save money. Go figure.

When I changed to W cams I had to change my ignition module because of timing issues due to higher cranking pressure. I installed the Screaming Eagle XL1200 module 31785-04 which completely resolved the ignition timing issues.

I wouldn't worry about trying to eliminate a noise that is normal and to be expected with a pushrod engine. Bikes are noisy, and there are worse noises than the music of tappet chatter.
