Default Head removal

Any ideas on how to remove the rear head on a 77 XLH with the motor still in frame? You know the pesky right rear bolt? Thanks stoney.

I always called it a dog leg wrench. Ever see how a dog's rear leg bends?

Yep, got three dogs and no dog bone wrenches. But I get the idea<I don't have a welder so I'll have to buy one hopefully from the supply store,. What to you think 8-10 inch reach or longer?

An 8-10 should work just fine.

Use a universal joint. I use a 3/8" drive: 7/16" 12-point socket [buy a very expensive one, the cheapies will break], a universal joint [ditto expensive one], a 4" extension [cheap will do]. Then the ratchet with a 1,1/2' pipe extension for remove, but a torque wrench for the install.
