to bplinson// first of all I'm glad You got back to Me and You are the host so I can get it straight, from the first day I guess it was in Nov. ,I was on Pashnit's site which is great, and came upon No return ticket. As soon as I got into it I couldn't believe how close to Tom and myself have in common, without every knowing Him. I too live on a lake in Maine and the winters are ruff, killing mc. season till April or even May, I've been riding and owning bikes since 1968 My wife goes with Me on trips to NC, Tenn. Sturgis as well of friends and siblings also all are wives have just recently got their permits and licences and purchased their own bikes, with Me pushing Them to realize how much better it is to drive, be in control ,be more proactive, other than sitting on the back seat, nothing that is wrong with that either! I did not want to offend anybody by sending up a red flag that I was in any way a scammer, and its too bad that because of this People can't move forward, but its Your forum and I just read the guidelines and don't want to be the villian here. My intentions were to only give thanks reward and praise to a coulple who ave been to some of the places and met some of the People My wife and I have met. I have been to Mexico 6-times in 6 years although not as deep as Tom and Heidi, My next stop is either Panama which I have had the travel book years before I posted on this site, also planning to ride from New Mexico to La Paz as soon as We can this is why like alot of others who couldn't wait to read the page see the excellant pictures etc. etc, wanted to do something for Tom and Hedi. I'm not looking to be a grandstander or look for anything out of this, I'm 55 years young and feel I have already lived a few lifetimes in what I've done.I believe in the goodness of mankind, taking care of mother earth family, doing good for People who deserve good things for their acts of kindness as these 2 have done!!I plan on retireing to Mexico in 6-7 years becase of the culture, the way families still respect each other how they resprct their religion etc everything that is getting lost in are own USA, theres more corruption lack of compassion for We as human beings more and more everyday... This is My long winded explanation of why thats all. If anyone wants check out Yucatan Living.com Forum You'll see whre I'm comming from, theres so many of Us gringgos moving to Mexico who have become disenchanted with the total BS. that is shoved down Our throats its become enou,gh to choke Me, with this I'll probably get more controversy ?? Ayway thanks for Your time and I can't help getting heavy on any issues it's My nature as I'm just an old hippie from the seventies that will always voice My opinion, and just try to do good while I'm still living I have been rewarded many times by speaking up and out, this world is so shallow and jaded and suppressed at the little things in Life .. Life is the word for Living ,, anyway on a lighter note ! of My favorite lines from Jack Nicholso in the Movie Batman is... What this town needs is an ENNIMMA... Take care and I promise I won't start any more waves or bad vibes , Where its all about the Ride....TP.
