i've,never seen a,turtle tank on an xlr either,frenchandy. look's like a,T.T.event. [tourist trophy]

The big tank was pretty common for longer races. Someone just sold an original "big tank" (pre-turtle) from a 1958 kr for well over $1,000 on ebay. |

I don't know the clipping says the Laconia race pictured was in 1958 and those sure look like turtle tanks there as well.
