headlight mount.
Hey all,
Looking to drop the eye brow from my bike, does anyone know where I can get a head light mount so I can drill the lower triple clamp and mount it there?
I'd prefer to score a black one but if I need to I will have one powder coated.
anyone know where I could score one?
Or have pics of theirs that would be awesome!
thanks!

Here's a pic of mine. Whatever you use make sure it's fairly substantial and use rubber bushings to mount it. Mine kept cracking because I didn't. Those headlights (stock) weigh and bounce more than you'd think. They need to be solidly mounted.

I got a black bottom mount headlamp and drilled the lower tree a couple thousand miles ago with zero problems. Its from jp cycle, part number 505-107, on page 297 of the 2012 catelog. Looks much better than the top mount/eyebrow and the light coverage on dark roads is way improved.
Good luck!

yeah I thought of doing that, but I want my headlight to end up centered between the top and lower clamps.
Just looking to see if anyone had picked up a mounting block anywhere...

Pages 303 & 304 have different types of mounts.
Also, height-wise, the headlamp i got is mounted directly on top of the lower tree, not the front like the bike above, so mine ended up centered between the trees and slightly back which i too was wanting.
