XLF Team Membership....THAT'S WHAT!

The XL Forum is mostly free for all to access. That being said, there are many costs in running a private server and maintaining it so you have 24/7/365 access to the best Sportster and Buell information in the Universe!

You too can help support XLF for as little as 10 cents a day!! If you are European that is less than 7 Euro cent a day!! Where else can you get a deal like that?

Many members here do not know about the XLF Team Membership program that helps support running the forum.

Most of the major motorcycle enthusiasts motorcycle forum have been bought out by large marketing companies and though being tempted a few times, by THREE different marking companies, I have resisted caving in to their generous offers.

The main reason why I have not sold out is because I like what we have going here. On the big forums owned by the big marketing firms the sense of community, friendship, and family does not exist. Instead you get a bunch of advertisements from whoever will pay them the most money. Unlike them I try to vet each of the side banners you see on XLF. We are the mom and pops store of motorcycle forums. We are not Walmart. I do not like it when I see a large marketing company, who cares more about profit then about providing a place on the Internet where people from all around the world can share their knowledge and passion about their common interest, buy out a forum.


XLF also generates part of its operating revenue from the Ebay Threads, and VigLink Affiliate program. But when you support XLF by becoming an XLF Team Member all these ads disappear.

All subscriptions are via PayPal and are AUTO-RENEWING meaning that once you have set it up it will automatically renew until you cancel it in PayPal or contact me to cancel it. You do not need to have a PayPal account to use the PayPal subcription feature. You will receive and email reminding you that a renew payment is going to be made. If you don't want the auto-renew you can just cancel the subscription immediately after subscribing.

I look at it this way, if you pay Bert 300 one time then he needs to find new revenue every year where as if I pay every year then he has revenue coming in every year. I maybe wrong in my thoughts and logic but that's how I feel so I will stay a yearly member

I'm in for a one year membership. At my age, I don't do any "lifetime" deals! This forum is definitely worth the cost, however! Great people, great advice and lots of fun!

I have to agree with Eric. Steady yearly revenue is better in the long run.
I even agree to cost increases if it's needed to keep the forum running.

Many forget that this isn't a for profit enterprise for Bert and the sponsor money helps but that alone will not keep this valuable social and information source available all of us.

Started in 2010, will not go without it, I am addicted...shit...
It DID safe me many 100's of dollars though, it DID helped me many a time, it DID made me good international friends...and so forth! It's worth it...
