Default Harley Service Information Portal

I ran across this Harley Davidson site while looking at owners manuals at the HD site.

H-D SERVICE INFORMATION PORTAL
https://serviceinfo.harley-davidson.com/sip/index

Welcome to the Harley-Davidson Service Information Portal (SIP). To preview the range of information available on the site, you may register by clicking the button. Owner’s Manuals, Parts Catalogs, and Wiring Diagrams are available free of charge.

Content accessible to customers without registering is limited to Owners Manuals, Parts Catalogs, Instruction Sheets, Recall Data, and Wiring Diagrams
Content accessible to customers who register includes Owners Manuals, Parts Catalogs, Instruction Sheets, Recall Data, Wiring Diagrams, and storage of favorite VINs.

You can get the parts Catalogs, Owners manual, Recall Data and Wiring Diagrams with just your VIN number from 1981 on.

I was able to register, log in and select my 2013 XL1200C.
I was able to view and download the Parts manual and Electrical diagrams
(had to select Sportster to actually be able to save the web wiring diagram doc as a PDF file)

After registering I used the Email to activate the account.
To log back in I used the "INDEPENDENT OPERATORS Login" section.

Happy surfing

Be nice if they'd throw in a FSM but it is still some great information to have/ access. I have added this link to the wiki. When I registered, I went to the 98 Sportster section, clicked on owners manual thru the vehicle documents and it gave me one owners manual document for All bikes in 1998. Couldn't get it to stop at just Sportster.

When I opened the wiring diagram, I selected sportster in the left hand panel.
I used the print option at the top right and then choose to Print as a PDF and saved the file.
You could also right click on the document and choose "save as", that will save it to your computer as a web page and create a local directory with the Web page.

Using the defaults it sets on my windoze 10 computer resulted in a directory on my computer named "99949-13_en - 2013 Wiring Diagrams _ Harley-Davidson SIP_files" with a 5540.html file in the directory and a bunch of java script files for display. I did choose to save it in my documents rather than in the chrome default of "downloads".
