What pullback risers or t-bar to clear Peanut Tank on 06
If I were to try some risers with some pullback in them how tall would they need to be to clear the tank?
I will take measurements myself but it would be good to hear from those that have installed pull back risers or t-bars with the riser and pull back in the riser.

I just made some aluminum spacers 1 3/4" long and used longer 1/2" bolts to raise mine and tilted the bars back. No need to change any wires cables or brake lines that way.

My bike had stock bars and 4 1/2" pullbacks when I got it, the stock style wire ties rubbed dull spots in the paint. The 4-1/2" risers combined with 27" drag bars had the controls hitting the tank and had the stock brake line in a pretty bad bind. The drag bars with 5-1/2" pullbacks have plenty of clearance.

I spent a bit of time trying to sort this out, and here's what I found:
Do 4½" pull-back risers clear an 883R tank..(yes)
Pictures of 4½" pull-back install...note the 'Xena Mod' (the wires and brake hose just touch on full lock).
There's enough slack in the wires and brake hose to add ½ - 1" spacers under the risers with ½ - 1" longer bolts if you want to later.

With T-bars you can go minimum of 6".......... but i prefer to go with 8" overall to eliminate all tank clearance issues altogether........ you will have to lengthen the cables, wires to make 8" work from lock to lock!!

I Used 5 1/2" pullbacks and haven't had any issues, at all. The 4 1/2 seems to touch at lock. (or I get an weird bar angle)
