It's listed as out of stock. I thought you needed to replace the carb bowl to incorporate an accelerator pump, so that item pictured has somewhere to seat against. I could be wrong.

Dennis Kirk used to carry them. You might check there.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it (especially if you don't know what you're doing). Most Sportster problems are owner-induced.

The Keihin butterfly carb already has an accelerator pump, so the Andrews high-flow pump body just replaces the stock one on the bottom of the float bowl. You do have to drill a hole in the bottom of the float bowl to feed the new pump body, but it's easy to do.

You need a stock early Keihin accelerator pump cover, they changed them for EPA, but its the same thing. I don't have a number, but they were stock late 70's, early 80's. Probably some on eBay, that's where I got mine. Still have to drill the hole, though

The part number is Andrews 269050. Some quick googling is showing it's out of stock all over the place, and it's no longer listed at JP Cycles or Denniskirk at all. That VTwin part has the Andrews part number listed in its description so it might be the same thing.

Edit: According to the VTwin website it's been discontinued and no replacement is listed.

It was a major improvement on every bike (mine and customers, big twins and Sportys) we did it to back in the proverbial day!

Also aim the pump nozzle to the center of the venturi if it doesn't squirt there already. It's a press fit. Just remove your air cleaner, open the choke, and give it a couple of squirts to see where to rotate it.

I put metric socket head screws on my bowl for convenient removal. There used to be kits but you can get matching sizes via Ebay in stainless for cheap from China.
