When I need a brake line I always just take my old one to my local Gregg's and they make me a new one. I'll likely do the same when it comes time for these.

If you could get some pics, I'd like to put your efforts in the Sportsterpedia. It may help someone down the road.

(It's not threaded all the way onto the pump because the guy who made the work stand needs to cut some clearance on the front support )

If anyone needs to go this route see if they'll take the hose where nothing's printed.
I've got very large, white letters on mine ( "5800 PSI MSHA IC-40/26" ) but thankfully the thread is timed so the letters are in toward the motor.
Proper.

I have created a sub doc in the Ref - oil modifications section of the Sportsterpedia for custom oil hoses.
Moved to this page: http://sportsterpedia.com/doku.php/techtalk:ref il17
Thanks Len for the pics. I have added the specs for your parts list. 4 bucks to get it crimped is a steal compared to the price of an approved crimper for those stainless fittings. Any item that has 'call for quote' in the listing, I can't afford. It's interesting that the hose is rated for 5,800 PSI but only heat rated for 212F on oil applications.
I assume this would work for 04 and up if the fitting from the oil pump were changed out?
