What I mean is if you chose open new map on your computer in the tc88 software and chose race and set initial 2 slope 0 you can see that table. I used it as a guide for my map in the low map/low rpm range. My switches are on 5/5.
Map is sent.

Damn, that's some juice, guys. Thanks.
I like the idea of the Y8 needle jet rather than the 96 needle 3rd clip.

3/4 turn with screw and 27.5 pilot? You must have the slide open pretty far then at idle?
M8ne starts to die at 1 1/4 turns out with the 25 but I cant get to slow turning it out. It just leans out and pops if I twist the throttle turned that far out.
This is interesting.

Nevermind. I think I've got it. You mean 2 3/4 on the screw. Don't worry about the 2 1/2 turns and go smaller thing.

It just allows you to see or start out with the timing tables of the switch positions. You can change the values and save it as a custom map then.

0k, my pilot is good at 25. 1 1/2 turns on the screw. I could go with the 27 and might but not until I get the Y8 needle jet. It's either that or the 96 needle. The 27 pilot doesn't transition well with the 97 needle and Y6 needle jet.
The 170 main feels good. I doubt any bigger will help.
I'm sure I'll be in the upper 80s now with both HP and torque by 5500 rpm. My exhaust plays really well with my cams in the 3000 to 5500 rpm range. It makes some really good power there.
I'd say the 88 was a really good guess on the HP. What surprised me was the torque being that high as well and that early. It's a fun ass ride. How can you not like 88/88 by 5500?

I just had a spur of the moment, impromptu dyno session. Stopped in as an afterthought when I happened to be driving by. Started talking to the tech that dyno'd me and one thing lead to another telling him about the crankcase breathers being bad that day and they agreed to do a pull or 2 for $40 just to see what if any improvement was there from running the krankvent after the failed umbrellas. I was running it in the cam chest first and replaced the breather bolts with solid bolts.
I did see a 4.5hp and just short of 2y6ft.lb. improvement on the first pull that I attribute to fixing the crankcase breathing as much as anything. I did go from a 165 main to a 170 and replaced the y6 needle jet with the y8 and lowered the 97 needle to the 2nd groove from the middle previously.
I was going to put the 165 main back in to test this theory when he discovered we broke the dyno.
Long story short, it wouldn't print but otherwise functioned as far as he could tell but his boss shut it down and I got a free pull out of the deal with a gift certificate to do a pull for $40 at a later date.
This time it continued to pull to 5500rpm where it leveled off but didn't drop. The torque climbed a little higher and hung on slightly longer before dropping off not as quickly.
Just short of 87hp and 89ft.lbs. of torque.
I added a dotted line to the old dyno to show what today's was since it wouldn't print. This is pretty close.
