Correct!
Front axle size was 3/4 until 2009 when front and rear both changed to 25mm.

what about the improved cams ('W" cams) and the better flowing heads with bigger valves
7mm valve stems etc.

in 08 they change the solid axles for hollowed ones to reduce unsprung weight (tubes).
Also from '08 and up none of the tank decals said "SPORTSTER" until the 48 in 2010.

Shifter shaft diameter and thus the primary cover different due to bushing opening being larger in 2005 from 2004. Ask me how I know!!
