Question Foil Beanie Questions: which material? shiny side in or out?

With the recent attempts by Bert and others to assert their control over member's posts, and at least one VERIFIED instance of this happening, I wanted to ask a few questions, so that I can order the proper material for my beanie.
  • Since tin foil is no longer available at the grocery store, is it OK to use aluminum foil?
  • Does anyone have a source for tin foil in the event it IS needed?
  • When forming the helmet, should the shiny side be on the inside or outside?
  • Has anyone used Reynolds Wrap Release®? I'm wondering if it's any better with its non-stick properties.
  • How many layers are needed to defend against mind control rays if I'm in Chicago and Bert is in Germany?
I have already checked the AFDB site, but I don't know if I trust them. I mean, those people are NUTS.

I have some experience in this field, had some grants funded, won some awards, etc.
So some quick answers to your questions:

1. Yes
2. Not needed. See #1
3. Shiny side out. It's more reflective of other's mind rays that way. However, flip it over for use on the person (e.g., Bert) sending the mind rays.
4. Current tests are inconclusive.
5. One of the first studies by Hearst et al. (1976) showed that 236 + 659 layers were needed (alpha = 0.05). More recent work has shown that only half that many layers are needed in most cases. The confidence intervals have also been tighted with state-of-the-art techniques. It's not an exact science yet but great strides are being made in the field.

I think I am going to try the Reynolds Wrap Release® (non-stick side out) and see how it works. Let's see Bert try and get me NOW. I just found a post from Bert that actually revealed his formula, so I just need to fight back against it now...

Default By the time you hear the siren, it's already too late

There's one problem, Chris. You've already got two wrenches under your name. You may as well change your name to Toby right now, because Bert owns you! Spatial's only got a few posts (comparatively), so there's still hope for him; the rays haven't fully warped him...well, no more than he was already . The rest of us here are screwed. Just relax and accept the inevitable!

After a while, the rays actually become enjoyable; it's kinda like a mild acid trip, but without having to go looking for a dealer. They're delivered, right to your brain! Convenient, if you ask me.

I prefer some of the pure elements foils...gold isn't as good as you would imagine..but some of the other more rare metals produce very good shielding foils...you can find them online...but they aren't cheap!

See here for a good selection of foils...we all like different combos of "sandwitches" for our beanies...it's pretty much a personal thing...they can get quite expensive if you use some of the more exotic metals.

I had a post on here a while back with my favorite beanie recipe

Exclamation Special Instruction for Left Coast.....

Because the mind-control rays are so prevalent here on the Left Coast, we're told to use double-layered foil. You take a larger sheet, fold it in half so that the shiny surface is on both sides, then you form your beanie or pyramid hat.

This helps keep evil mind-control thoughts out and helps retain your own "good" thoughts inside your head. I've seen many of these being worn by just about everyone at all types of religious gatherings and at just about every political rally.

They must work well because no one ever agrees on anything and our state is still loony as ever.

Just a note. When using a foil beany always coat your hair with Vaseline extra thick. The reason being is that quite often mind capturing rays seep through the foil I don't know why so don't ask. When the rays slip through if the vaseline is thick enough they will heat it up and they will slide off of your head.
It works
